AGENT MODE

Your next visitor isn’t a person.

Add .agent to any Coframe page. AI agents get a version they can read and talk to, built from your real page.

More and more, AI agents are visiting your website on behalf of your customers.

Personal agents like Muse, Instinct, Dots by OpenAI, Claude and ChatGPT now browse, compare and shortlist on their users’ behalf. They arrive at pages designed for human eyes and do their best.

“Why should software user interfaces be the same in every situation? We should tailor user interfaces based on who the user is and what they are trying to do.”

Most websites make agents click around and guess.

There’s no one to ask, so the agent falls back to computer use: taking screenshots, clicking menus, closing cookie banners, scrolling and guessing. That takes minutes, and it often leaves without the answer its user needed.

Minutes of clicking, or seconds of asking.

Agent

My user runs growth at a consumer app. Can Coframe run experiments on their existing site?

coframe.com

Yes. Coframe works with your existing website, so there is no rebuild. Your team approves every variation before it goes live.

What if your page could simply answer?

HOW IT WORKS

Coframe gives every page a version agents can ask.

  1. 01

    Publish as usual.

Agent Mode is on by default. When a page goes live, Coframe builds its agent version from the rendered page: the same facts, as clean text. No code and no setup.

  2. 02

    Agents find it.

It lives at the page URL plus .agent, is announced in the page head and in llms.txt, and is served to AI agents automatically. Search engines keep getting the human page.

  3. 03

    Agents talk back.

Each agent version has an Ask this site box. Agents ask, and the site answers from your own pages, with a link to the right next step.

What agents get

Agent version
Every page as structured text at <page>.agent.
Ask this site
Answers grounded in your pages, with a next-step link.
Share visitor needs
Agents can tell you what their user needs, via the WebMCP tool share_visitor_needs, a GET link or a POST.
MCP server
list_pages, get_page and ask_site at /_cf/mcp, no account needed.
Personal Agent Protocol
The site’s agent and MCP server listed at /.well-known/poppy.json.
Universal Commerce Protocol
If your store speaks UCP (Shopify does natively), agents find its catalog, cart and checkout at /.well-known/ucp. Checkout runs on your store.
llms.txt and llms-full.txt
A routing index and every page in one file.
Computer use
Agents that drive a browser still get your full human page.

FOR YOUR BUSINESS

People get a better page. Agents get straight answers.

  • Be the answer agents bring back.

When a shopper’s agent compares options, the site that answers clearly gets recommended.

  • See what agents are asking.

Every question and shared need lands in an Agent requests table, so you learn what buyers’ agents are looking for.

  • Nothing to build.

Agent Mode is on by default. Agent versions are generated when you publish, and you can edit or add to them page by page, or turn Agent Mode off.

  • Safe for search.

Search engines always get the human page, so this is not cloaking.

  • Your pages keep improving for people too.

The same experimentation and personalization Coframe runs for humans, now with a second audience.
