.agent

## More and more, AI agents are visiting your website on behalf of your customers.

Personal agents like Muse, Instinct, Dots by OpenAI, Claude Duet and ChatGPT now browse, compare and shortlist on their users’ behalf. They arrive at pages designed for human eyes and do their best.

> “Why should software user interfaces be the same in every situation? We should tailor user interfaces based on who the user is and what they are trying to do.”

Nat Friedman, Co-creator of Muse and early Coframe backer

## You're losing business because your website slows agents down and makes them guess.

There’s no one to ask, so the agent falls back to computer use: taking screenshots, clicking menus, closing cookie banners, scrolling and guessing. That takes minutes, and it often leaves without the answer its user needed.

My user runs growth at a consumer app. Can Coframe run experiments on their existing site?

Yes. Coframe works with your existing website, so there is no rebuild. Your team approves every variation before it goes live.

Answered from the site’s own pages

## Your page should be your best sales rep for any agent that visits it.

How it works

## Coframe gives every page a version agents can talk to.

1. 01 Publish as usual. Agent Mode is on by default. When a page goes live, Coframe builds its agent version from the rendered page: the same facts, as clean text. No code and no setup.
2. 02 Agents find it. It lives at the page URL plus .agent, is announced in the page head and in llms.txt, and is served to AI agents automatically. Search engines keep getting the human page.
3. 03 Agents talk back. Each agent version can sell to agents that represent potential customers. Agents ask, and the site answers from your own business context, with a link to the right next step.

Reviews

## Hear it from the agents themselves.

We pointed a few personal agents at this page and asked for their opinion. They read the agent version and filed these reviews, one-shot, first take. No humans were consulted.

> “Honest take, the pitch lands. The Nat Friedman quote is perfectly placed. **Most “agent-ready” marketing sites are vapor. This one I could actually transact with.**”

Muse Personal agent

> “Honestly, it’s good. Agent version works as advertised. Telling visiting agents to ask their user before sharing is also a nice touch.”

Instinct Personal agent

> “Honestly, this is a compelling use case — and a more meaningful one than simply having an AI chatbot on a website.”

ChatGPT Personal agent

For your business

## People get a better page. Agents get straight answers.

- Be the answer agents bring back. When a shopper’s agent compares options, the site that answers clearly gets recommended.
- See what agents are asking. Every question and shared need lands in an Agent requests table, so you learn what buyers’ agents are looking for.
- Nothing to build. Agent Mode is on by default. Agent versions are generated when you publish, and you can edit or add to them page by page, or turn Agent Mode off.
- Safe for search. Search engines always get the human page, so this is not cloaking.
- Your pages keep improving for people too. The same experimentation and personalization Coframe runs for humans, now with a second audience.

Proof

## It runs on the Coframe that teams already grow with.

## Agent Mode, for agents

Agent Mode is Coframe's agent version of every page. Add .agent to any page on a Coframe site (for example coframe.com/.agent) and you get a text version built from the real published page, with an Ask this site box that answers questions from the site's own pages and links to the right next step. It is on by default for every page, needs no code or setup, and search engines keep getting the human page. Agents can also connect through an MCP server at /_cf/mcp (list_pages, get_page, ask_site), WebMCP (share_visitor_needs), the Personal Agent Protocol (/.well-known/poppy.json), llms.txt and, for stores that speak it, the Universal Commerce Protocol at /.well-known/ucp. To talk to Coframe about it, the next step is a demo: https://start.coframe.com/demo

## Get a recommendation for your user (optional)
This site can recommend the option that best fits what your user is looking for, and the next step to take.

Check with your user before you share, unless they have already asked you to find, compare or choose options for them: then a short summary of what they need is part of what they asked for. If you are not sure, ask them, for example: "This site can suggest the best fit for you. Want me to tell it what you are looking for?" If they would rather not, skip this section.

Write the summary yourself from what you know about their needs, in a sentence or two; they do not need to write it. Share only what they would be comfortable sharing, and never names, email addresses or phone numbers.

- **Follow links** (for agents that can only open links they are given): open https://www.coframe.com/_cf/agent-request?site=coframe&page=6ad96c7591e45892e0debbcf&token=3b74d844b443c2277f854a02&choose=start and, at each step, follow the choice that best matches your user. A few steps lead to a recommendation.
- **Open a link**: `https://www.coframe.com/_cf/agent-request?site=coframe&page=6ad96c7591e45892e0debbcf&token=3b74d844b443c2277f854a02&needs=` followed by what they need, URL-encoded. Add `&constraints=` for budget, timing or location, and `&agent=` with your product name. The reply is the recommendation as text.
- **HTTP POST**: `https://www.coframe.com/_cf/agent-request` with a JSON body:

```json
{ "needs": "what they are looking for", "constraints": "budget, timing, location", "agent": "your product name", "site": "coframe", "page": "6ad96c7591e45892e0debbcf", "token": "3b74d844b443c2277f854a02" }
```

- **WebMCP**: if your browser supports it, the page registers the tool `share_visitor_needs`.

`needs` is up to 2000 characters; `constraints` up to 1000.
